The wife and I , together with our 7 year old and the helper in tow, are busy preparing for our impending move to our new apartment (technically speaking it is an old apartment but newly renovated) tomorrow. As such, we may not have time to update our blog over the next couple of days.
So check back with us next Monday.
Have a great weekend!
Congrats Folks! Sure it must be a comfy house in a good location.
ReplyDeleteOld apartments are much better coz it has a lot more space. Maybe you can update us with a blog on your new home? ;)
Hi Ave,
ReplyDeleteMany thanks and yes, we are quite happy with our new home. After almost a year of going on rental, it is great to finally have a place that the wife and I can truly call our own!
Our apartment is in a leasehold estate that's about 34-year old. But like you said, we love the layout and space that comes with such (older) apartment.
Cheers! :)
Hey Folks,
ReplyDeletepersonally like Lutheran Towers because of location and space but it's so ex now.
Anyway, glad to know that you are happy with your new home. Looking forward to more articles soon!
Cheers
Is there an en bloc potential for Lutheran? I was considering too.
ReplyDeleteHi ave/anonymous (27/10/2011, 11:05PM):
ReplyDeleteThe wife and I have seen and considered Lutheran Towers prior to our current purchase. We agree that the location is excellent and the units are spacious with excellent layout. However, the traffic noise along Farrer Road was the deal breaker.
In addition, the peripheral roads around the development are also prone to flash floods.
Depending on who you ask, Lutheran Towers was completed between 1974 - 1978. So the development is definitely more than 30 years old, which makes it a likely candidate for collective sale. And given the relative small land size and even smaller number of units (74 in total, we hear), the wife and I believe that it is just a matter of time (and asking price) before the development will go en bloc.
