According to data released by URA, developers sold 1,788 private homes excluding executive condos (ECs) in April 2011, up 29% from the 1,386 units they sold in March.
Including ECs, which are a hybrid of public and private housing, developers sold 1,901 private homes in April, up 23.2% from 1,543 units in March.
The April sales is the highest since November 2010.
Develpers rolled out 2,049 private homes in April. This is 64% more than the 1,246 units launched in March. No EC projects were launched in April.
Suburban homes again show the strongest increase, with 1,010 units sold. The City Fringe saw sales of 477 units, while the Central Region sold a total of 301 units.
